Designed for Community
At PHCS, children are not lost in a sea of faces, overlooked or overshadowed.
Students and their families are known by name. There are many opportunities at Pleasant Hill Christian School to become part of our school family. We believe that it takes everyone being a part to make the whole the best that it can be. Parents, students, and staff are involved in building a school community that supports personal growth, learning to share in responsibility, and reaching out to the community. We encourage school families to participate where they are able, in order to benefit not only our school as a whole, but to benefit the community around us.
Giving Back to our Community
Our students are learning that you don't have to be an adult to make an adult-sized difference in the world.
We not only help our students to discover their God-given talents and purpose, we teach them to put them into action. Every student, Kindergarten through 6th grade, participates in a numerous community service projects throughout the school year.
From visiting and encouraging the residents of a local care facility to assembling food and toiletries for the homeless, to investing in missions to impoverished nations in the world, kids at PHCS are learning the joy of serving. They are taught that they are valuable and necessary members of our community, no matter their size.
