Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteers are vital to our success. Majority of the volunteers are parents of students at PHCS. However, we also welcome grandparents, alumni, legal guardians, Occidental Community Church members and parents of alumni as volunteers.

PHCS has dynamite fundraisers, educational programs and many celebrations where volunteers are utilized. Each school year a list of volunteering opportunities is made available. Listed below, but not limited to, are examples of volunteering opportunities:

Volunteering is an investment in your child’s education and future. We understand that families of today are impacted with many activities and obligations. Each family is highly encouraged to volunteer every academic school year. Parents can sign up at the beginning of the year or for a particular event of their choice. Managing/assistance are needed all year long in various areas of the school. Please check with the office should you have extra time or particular expertise that you feel can be used at PHCS. It is our hope that you will consider your valuable time to be used at PHCS.
